Meet Doug and McKenna, the father and daughter who created This is My Chapter.

We are just two average people trying to make a difference and impact others. After going through a tremendous loss we decided we wanted to share our story and find a way to turn our grief into something that could help others. Together we started this podcast and we couldn't be more excited to be here and for what is to come from it! We have worked so hard to get here and we are so happy to finally share it!

Doug

I was born in Utah and lived in Spain when I was a child, and Mississippi as a young teen. I am a husband, dad of five, a stepdad of five and a granddad of 6. I owned two weekly newspapers, have been a booking agent and a publicist. I also am an author and have a new Christmas novel coming out this year. After loosing my son Riley to suicide, McKenna and I decided we would do anything we can to help others stay alive. You are loved and you are needed.

McKenna

I grew up in Utah the youngest of five siblings and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I have a house with my boyfriend Jake that's filled with more pets than you could imagine. There's nothing I hate more than the cold, however one of my favorite things to do is ski! My entire life I've been a shy person but once I start talking you won't get me to stop. Life is full of stories and I love hearing others talk about what is important to them. This podcast means the world to me and I couldn't be more excited, thank you for being here with us!
